In this tutorial I'm going to show how to set up the Custom Crafting System already in place on Exile. This will make it so that you can craft whatever you want. With a few exceptions. In your MpMissionsfile (Exile.YourMap) find your config.cpp. In that file, right near the top, you'll find: class CFGCraftingRecipes This is where you can add your new Recipes. Just scroll down past: and add your Recipe. Now lets break down how to do this. It already gives you a decent breakdown within the CPP but we'll break it down further. Now lets look at an Example of how to make something, We'll make 4 Items, an Axe, bandage, Vishpirin, and an InstaDoc. Something to keep in mind when going crazy with your new found crafting powers. Don't make something that wont fit on your person. By on your person I mean within your backpack clothes or whatever. So basically don't try to have your player craft a car or a gun that cant fit in a backpack. Also I haven't been able to get tents to work... Other than that have fun and BE CREATIVE. I've got loads of craftables on my server.Why am I not listing how to craft them here? BECAUSE I WANT YOU TO BE CREATIVE!!! Things to craft on my server IEDS (all Shapes and Sizes) Able to dump your water out of your bottle Able to make grenades (all shapes and sizes lol) make different ammo build a safe make a can opener a cooking pot nvg's binoculars and that's just a few. The more fun you have with your server the more fun your players will have. If you want to check these out on my server (its a new server so its low pop, my other servers don't have the custom crafting on them because they are more of a straight up war and pew pew pow pow kill than a survival server. Has anyone seen anything like this? Guessing its Ryan Zombies causing it but just in case leaving this in a general setting. So, Player gets into a vehicle, vehicle is hit by a zombie, player gets off of the vehicle and tries to get back into the vehicle and it doesn't give an option for the same seat the player got out of (if player was driver then cant get back into driver seat) After turning on AI Esp I noticed that there was an AI sitting in the seat. Mods running - client side- Exile (duh) ,CBA, CUP(everything), Esseker, HVP, Ryan Zombies, RZ Infection for Exile Server Side Mods - @exileServer,@Infistar,@Enigma(for revive) Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm at the end of my rope.

Is there a way to set up other factions within exile such as blufor-opfor?

Exile does not come pre-packaged with loot positions for esseker buildings. So basically what this means is your server has no idea where to spawn the loot. Try to find someone that has an esseker server that is willing to share theirs or make the positions yourself.

I've had this same problem but just waiting for like 30 - 60 seconds seems to fix. I think the problem might be within the animation itself. It could be that it waits too long to transition to the next state whether it be Idle or "Closing". At the same time It could be the change from the character going from a "wait until" state to actually entering the vehicle via regular arma animations. I'm not at my pc right now but I can take a look at this when I get home later.

There are repeling/fast rope mods not at my computer right now otherwise I would get links. I think its called Advanced urban repeling. I use it on my server. One mod allows for repelling from buildings. The other allows for fast roping from helicopters.

Havent tried on Tanoa yet but helis I have been able to refuel just by landing on the fuel stations. In cars you can just drive up and turn off your engine and it begins refueling. Also, in cars, if you look at the pump while holding alt and scroll wheel you should be getting a "refuel" at pump option.....I think... but I know driving up and turning off your engine does the trick....and never had any problems with heli. Just make sure you are sitting still so maybe throw it in auto-hover to help out. Or if the top of the gas station is big enough just land on it. hope this helps

You wont end up out in the water if you port the spawns over from the tanoa mission.sqm (this is where you define your player spawns) and I think (not 100% sure) he said he just wouldn't add your server to his list if you didn't change the name. But yeah if you want to give your bambi's things like quad bikes right off the bat then this really isn't the mod for you anyways. This is only for people that want a hardcore non-candy coated version of Exile. This configuration brings us back to the good ol days of arma sandbox survival where everything you have can be taken and you have to fight for and earn everything you have against all odds. You ever player DayZ and take a vehicle from someone and you're so stoked because its something so hard to obtain. Or player arma 2 epoch and kill someone that had like 5 briefcases of gold. This bring back those feelings of true accomplishment. Not saying there is anything wrong with the gameplay that you provide on your server. Just saying this is a totally different cup of tea.

not 100% sure but try just adding the initplayer local and initserver from the Zombie version to the regular version........Might work unless there is something in there to do with zombies...haven't looked but cant think of anything that would be there off hand. so to reiterate just download the regular version and the zombie version from the GitHub and grab up the initplayerlocal and interserver from the mpmission file and transfer it to yours....OH!! and you will need the spawns from the mission.sqm as well....if you decide to just copy that over you will have to comment out anything that has to do with RyanZombies

LoL I like how everyone is jumping on to help these guys out but I think you guys are misunderstanding. No, you can not fix this for your personal client. It is an action the the admins of the server you play on would have to do. If you want, direct the admins to this post and ask them to remove territories from popping up on the server. I run an RP server so ill more than likely be using what ive seen here to hide base locations from people. Thanks for asking this question @Enforcer1975 I would have never thought about it.

I wish you the best of luck. I'm heading to bed as its 3AM where I live. If it was just BE kicks then you'll be fine after removing the txt files. Like I said its not the best scenario but it gives you a starting point. Also, if you want to do a quick test. If removing the filters fixes everything for you. Try adding Reborn's filters and see if you come up with the same problems (this is after you have your server running without filters) If you get the same problems then obviously there is a problem with the filters somewhere that we're just not seeing. I checked earlier and sure enough I actually am not running the filters on my server. Thought I was but guess I forgot to add them LoL. But yeah, best of luck to you and if you haven't fixed this by time I get on next then ill try to help you further. Good night Survivors

@MinkiSan Zed is right, I am running the filters on my server along side infistar with no issues. You might do this, go and delete all of the filters you currently have and throw exile Reborn's stuff in. Now, I have to ask the dumb question of are you running any other mods besides exile, and infistar? or any custom scripts besides Reborn? If so, then that's a whole new ballgame as far as filters go.

@MinkiSan honestly m8, what you could do (if you want.....not saying you have to) Is go into the file that holds your BE Filters and delete everything except (bans.txt, BEServer.CFG, and beserver.dll) This will basically remove all of the battlEye kicks. Not really suggested but it would get your server running. BUT if you get me the line I can hopefully make a BE exception for you.

Ugh, I haven't done a BE filter in ages but ill try. Go to your BE Script (god cant remember what file it is Script description I think) and it should give a line showing the error. Copy that line and paste it here, ill see if I can remember how to whip up an exception for you.

Hey, don't worry about changing the description.ext or any of that. Exile reborn already has it setup for you. Just go into the mpmissions folder you got from your Infistar download and copy over the Call.fsm, theCFGRemoteEXEC and the InfiSTAR_AdminMenu.hpp into whatever mission file you are running on your server (IE Exile.Altis) Re-pack your mpmission into a pbo, upload and you should be golden hommie. If you're still getting any issues with infistar, give us a pastebin or whatever of your servers RPT.

Quick question, I know its still a WIP with the animals and such but would it be possible to switch it from a scroll wheel option to a key press with a check for dead animal nearest to tie it to belt? If you want 3D models of meat and stuff let me know......and then I need to figure out how to get them into game

Grr!! I know its the default LoL. I was just letting John know so that going forward if he wanted it changed specifically for esseker he would have it. He cant think of everything himself lol. Thanks for your help earlier BTW!!

I use the same exile.ini on my other server with no problems (i think...it was working a few days ago lol) so I don't think its the exile.ini. Is there some SQL I'm forgetting that I needed to change when installing this.....I don't remember doing any for the other server....ugh its late my brain isn't working....going to just grab a fresh copy of the exile.ini from the downloads....throw it in..and see what happens. But if you get to looking at that DB Log above and can tell exactly what it is lemme know.
