I know that, I wasn't talking about the location and number of spawn points, but the system itself, including the bambi status thing. Of course, 95% of servers make it even worse by allowing you to spawn wherever you want and you'll still have a bicycle in case you find boring to run for 1km. It's sad.

"Is Exile a deathmatch or a survival mod?" Just look at the spawn system thought for this mod. It's like a CoD in a larger scale.

I'm sorry Metalman, but the "10k starting thing" is exactly what I want to avoid. Why would people be given tabs to buy stuff from the start? Thanks for the reply though. I'm gonna try the KZ server and Nokturnal Gaming server. Although those maps are not my favorites, at this point, I prefer to avoid all the crap most servers offer. Thank you for the replies Excaliber and Assassin!

Hi all. After a long break, I'm trying to get back to the mod. Is there any populated server with low loot, increased buy prices, lowered sell prices and something else that keeps the game harder? All I can see is the "high loot", "10k pop", "everything's so easy and boring" stuff. Anyone knowing a server not like this? Thanks.

If it releases, which I doubt it.

Breaking Point, by far.

I admire you for your faith, cause I lost almost all of it in this new generation of gamers. Kids in general don't have patience, don't want a challenge, they want instant gratification and that's why, in the end, almost all of the most played Epoch servers were crap. The good ones, where you had to work to have your stuff (without ATMs and auto-repairs, no spawning everywhere on the map, no M107 in every civilian house, lower spawning rates etc.), were dead or close to it. I'm afraid we're stucked with this casual stuff, with the exception of 1 or 2 games out there.

I understand why you're saying that, but still, the concept behind the mod is the best we've got for A3. Just compare the work you have in keeping a working vehicle in BP and what you have to do in Exile. It's like day and night difference and much more rewarding in the first case. And this is just a detail.

The option of not having physical money and keys was a very wrong one to take. Adding this to the spawn and bambi systems, the mod is not a lot more than a CoD, just death matches everywhere, with people dying and spawning at crazy rates, with no one giving a **** about it. 2 years after ArmA 3, there's still a Mod to beat the old DayZ and Epoch mods for ArmA 2. Breaking Point is, by far, the best concept, although crippled by not having modular base building.

Don't worry about that. Been doing it for years.

I did, some right away after the Mod went public, in the old forum. And I still do. I just keep seeing this walking in a way I don't like. Since I can only give my opinion and since that opinion is unpopular, most of times, it turns out to what you call "bitching". For me, that fast travel thing you're working on is another unnecessary feature that will hurt the Mod, more than helping it. What amazes me is that I was saying in another topic that someone was going to have an idea like this. 3 mins after that I bump into this thread. Guess it's already happening.

Cause I don't have any scripting skills. Is this a forum restricted to those guys? If yes, I'm leaving, don't want to disturb anyone.

I think you're being too harsh on me. Giving an unpopular opinion is not bitching.

This feature alone doesn't take all the fun, I've never said that, but it's just one more to the "dumb down" pack. Spawns all over the map, crosshair, supa dupa weapons (the Navid, lol, what is that?), extra loot, easy money, no physical keys to vehicles or doors, no physical money, cant lose rep (except when Bambis exploiting the Bambi system) etc... Why do you need a mark saying where you died? If you can't do that in the first time, next time you'll remember to take a look about where you were. If the second time is not enough, you'll just keep losing your gear untill you learn. You even have the coords in your screen! The game already gives everything to you. What's the next step? To respawn exactly where you died (it's already possible to do it, if you're talking about major areas)?
