Try alt tabbing as soon as you hit join server. Let the mission file download in the background then tab back in. Best to alt tab and leave it for 30secs or so.

Every time the mission file updates, you mayneed to do it again.

I've been having the same issues. Error would pop while mission file was downloading etc etc I may have a temp fix... Try alt tabbing as soon as you hit join server. Don't tab back in until you are 100% sure the missionfile has downloaded. Worked for me

That was one of the best things about Epoch. Players had to find a radio to talk over sidechat. If they were starting crap over global, it was just a matter of removing their radio and the server was at peace again. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man and enjoy my peace and quiet...

Would add an extra step before kicking people. Would also halt the keyboard warriors in their tracks. Sounds like we run a fascist server... we don't

Along this line - Is there any way to implement a gag feature of sorts, to stop people spamming direct chat with text? Would definitely assist in diffusing a number of situations.

If you are clicking on the group button, it's a resolution issue (you'll actually be clicking on one of the other boxes, most likely the clan tab) Play around with your resolution, make sure it matches your native.
