I know this might not be allowed or at least probably frowned upon. Recently CUP, Community Upgrade Project, has been threatening communities who are allowed by BIS to monetize, stating that you cannot have any type of monetization to either remove it or remove their mod. If you don't BIS will take action by either removing your community from monetization and worse, blacklisting. What is the purpose of even having your server approved? It should also be noted that CUP is mostly ported content from Arma 2; however, BIS no longer cares about server communities and seem to stand behind these content creators even if most of their content is made from BIS themselves. I read https://www.bistudio.com/monetization/faq and found that the first one made me laugh, "Arma 3 tools and documentation are generally available only for a non-commercial use and to create non-commercial content. May I use (or license others to use) the content created with these tools on monetized servers?" The answer: "Yes, you may but only for the type of monetization specified in the Server monetization rules." How can a community that made a mod from Arma content be able to govern what server owners are allowed to do? I have decided to email back Vojta hoping to get a clear reason why. In the meantime, I have made a petition to BIS. https://www.change.org/p/bistudio-bis-monetization-protest-against-cup There are already over 40+ users who have already signed it, I hope that Bohemia will see and understand what they are doing.

Alright, it seems this topic is getting way out of hand. I posted my link and got as many supporters and more are signing. If possible I would like for this thread to be closed to stop even more flame wars on who has the right to do what. "Fighting means you could lose. Bullying means you can't. When did I say every mod is under APL-SA? I said, " Pretty sure every mod is licensed under BIS own License." I am not just arguing license and terms here either and as every other counter argument that has been stated is fairly a good counter to what wolfkillArcadia and the rest have said.
-
That was would be the majority of the communities. Pretty sure every mod for Arma is made using BIS own License, that being said SA is still considered a Public License. We are not exchanging anything with CUP's materials, only the reserved limited slots to our server. It seems that I mostly divided the Exile community which wasn't my intention, I only wanted to get people to make Bohemia understand what they are doing when they bully server communities and giving them limited resources to keep their server alive.
-
Sure if we were selling Exile items in game, but we are not. We are not selling any items or content on our server. The only thing that we have for monetization is reserved and whitelisted slots.
-
You think running and making a fairly big server isn't? Where is the logic in that? I agree on the fact and sympathize with content creators, just not the way CUP is going about it. If you ported content over from Arma 2, no matter the time and resources it should not be a valid excuse since the idea and original content was not yours to being with. A mod is only good enough if you have the majority of the servers wanting to use your mod. The best way to do that is by keeping the servers alive, almost any server hoster can agree that donations alone will not always keep your community alive. The same can almost be said for mod content creators. Most of the communities even offered to pay CUP to use their mod, but yet CUP even blatantly said no and got really salty about it.
-
Yet that gives them the right even though it was ported over from Arma 2? I stand behind most mod content creators, but CUP doesn't want any monetization even reserved slots. I don't see how that would still apply to them since their mod is most likely 90% Arma content. Not just my server either, any server with monetization that is using CUP got the email. It's not a joke when the majority of Exile communities agree.

I rather have them be called gangs instead of families. Don't you know a true gangster will always be bigger than any Mafia father. (American Gangster anyone?) We are convicts after all.

Can't wait, once you release I'll probably make an integration for IPB login instead of always having to create admin accounts.

Well, in the end, I would just suggest getting a server from OVH and setting it up that way. -

Definitely looks like an MYSQL error. I would have them double check it again and make sure that the database is setup correctly. -
I sent you a pm.

No, this is it not the forum you are looking for. Please ask the server admin for the correct website of the server that you are experience the issue with.
-
That I know of XAMPP queries really slow compared to MYSQL, even though they are the same core files.

It might be possible to use a DLL to call an extension to battleye without having to wait RCON.

Right, but most of the time even before the server fully sets up; BEC will issue the lock command. BEC running on local will be the first one to connect before any person does; BEC will send the lock command and then allow normal players to connect after seconds, which is set in the config. Either way, even when the server starts accepting connection it is still reading files and setting up the server.
-
Just look in BEC, there should be a config option in there.
-
I don't really suggest using XAMPP.
-
That can't be quite, if you didn't have the newest key or update, you would get a different issue. The new message you would be receiving is: "You cannot play/edit this mission it is dependent on content that you have deleted." If you are getting kicked it either means that you do not have the correct mods or the server is requiring you to have a specific mod parameters which you do not have correctly set.

Linux is always the best answer; however, you don't really need much experience to be able to properly install and the Arma 3 to work on Linux. You could easily find topics on exile that will lead you to getting it up and running.

Could always set it to ignore any duplicated tables.
