@kuplion I keep seeing you reference to add 86000 to infiSTAR. I have it added exactly where it should be added. When me or my admins log into the server, we see the background image no problem and have no problem selecting Halo/Ground. When anyone without infiSTAR privileges enter, they see a black screen. I am literally at a loss on this.

Whats up everyone... I am trying to make custom graffiti in photoshop then adding it to a custom mod to use in the editor. Does anyone know how I would go about taking a photoshop image and somehow converting it into a filetype that would work for the editor when I have the mod loaded? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Roger @Chainsaw Squirrel. We already have a mod in development. We have been using it to text objects that have been made and it works fine. Just having a hard time getting the graffiti to work. @Crazy Mike Is adding graffiti to a transparent box as simple as making a box and adding a texture to it. I saved all my graffiti textures as TGA files. Object Builder seems to recognize them fine. Thanks again both of you.

Hello, forgive me if this the wrong channel to ask this. I am looking for essentially the Helicrash script but instead of the heli, a camp is placed. Crate, AI, Smoke plume, all the the same. Even if I have to design the camps myself in the editor that's fine. We don't want to create a mission for it in DMS because we don't want a marker placed on the map or screw up our current rotation of DMS missions. We want two or three of them to pop up on the map each restart and remain until the following restart. Is there anything like this that anyone has come across?

My crew of 11 so far enjoy the Neck Beard Gaming Tanoa server. It's nice to go back to a server that actually utilizes the respect system within the traders again. Some may find it a turn off to not be able to put a silencer on their weapon immediately after joining, but to that I say they have been spoiled. I really enjoy having to work for some of the cool stuff. I appreciate it more and when you lose those items it makes you want to get them back either by scavenging or PVP. The leaderboards for this server are phenomenal. Arguably the best leaderboards I have seen for an Arma 3 Exile server to date. (http://exile.neckbeardgaming.com/) The server offers a hidden trader that will be moved from time to time. I find these type of elements of a server like that to be a lot of fun. The missions are fun and abundant (recently increased I believe). The owner has been attentive to my crew both as a group and individually on numerous occasions. I really think they're trying to shake the "Bad Admin" monkey off their back due to what sounds like the actions of an admin they once had. There has been one questionable issue that involved an admin that we thought was using admin abilities to locate and track our movements, however the admin in question was using a player account with no admin abilities loaded. A couple of my buddies were lighting up sidechat with an angry disposition and the server owner quickly got involved and maintained a professional demeanor though faced with a few angry players. This was greatly appreciated. Not many owners have that kind of patience. Through the sidechat conversation we suggested to avoid this type of accusation in the future the admin group could have NBG tags when they're admin loaded and no NBG tags when they're not, like many other successful servers. The very next day this system was implemented by the server owner. I cannot speak to the negative reviews that NBG has received, but so far we are having a great time. I would recommend this server and have thus far. Keep it up NBG!

Where do I begin with this server... I don't usually play on clan-owned servers because those that I have come across are usually run poorly. The admins on clan-owned servers nine times out of ten favor the clan member over the non-clan member. Clan members usually get a slap on the wrist for rule violations, etc. Blackhearts Gaming is no different, in fact it leads the charge in these things. I came very close to applying to be an admin on this server and spoke in great lengths with the server owner and the other admins. I quickly retracted any desire I may have once had for contributing to this community after realizing who and what this clan really is. This is who they are and what the Blackhearts server is about: The server lacked a serious amount of balance when my crew of about six played there. Heaven forbid you add a suggestion in their "Exile Server Suggestions" forum that members of the clan don't agree with, you get mocked and ridiculed by the clan on the forums and later in game until you have enough and just leave the server. (http://blackheartsgaming.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1521) The majority of the killing and base raiding is done by clan members because they and their non-clan member groupies make up the bulk of the consistent server population. I get that clan members want to play as well and they absolutely should be able to, however, when the clan itself continually bully and torment other players in side chat, what good is it? I'm all for shit talking every now and again, but Blackheart members are the true definition of sidechat cancer. Don't let the server population fool you. Blackhearts maintain a higher server population because they ONLY run Exile on their server. Many of the players who play on Blackhearts join because its easy access. Just download Exile and you're in. The clan knows this and thrive because they enjoy preying on new players. Not just new to Blackhearts but new to Arma in general. There is no doubt in my mind that a good bulk of the Blackhearts clan members would suffer great losses on other servers. They've become too accustom to preying on new Arma players. I've spoken with many people in game and through steam that said that Blackhearts was their first taste of Exile and in some cases Arma in general. Some of the Blackhearts members are not that bad individually, but once in a group setting the majority of them are insufferable, owner included at times. Blackhearts boasts a Code of Ethics on their website and I can literally recall with great detail clan members violating multiple lines of their own codes of ethic on many many occasions. So much so that it's laughable that they still have a link to them. Many of which have been brought to the owner's attention to see nothing come of it. (http://blackheartsgaming.com/CodeofEthics) The server owner is aware that the clan and even more specifically select individuals in the clan torment the server populace regularly via insufferable sidechat trolling that NEVER ends and various forms of griefing and does nothing to stop it. He just flat out enables it and for some reason is scared to call some of the certain members out. The insane truly run the asylum at Blackhearts. The server has serious lag issues. So much so that the server is set to be locked 15 minutes prior to restart which contributes to an extremely long restart process. I would be remissed if I didn't mention a couple of the good things the server does offer: Blackhearts is one of the few servers that I've played on that allows you to craft walls and sell them for tabs. I found this to be a good time vs. reward type feature. The Blackhearts website allows you to pay your territory flag remotely. You can also delete your territory flag from the website as well. The server owner is almost always accessible. I have NEVER EVER witnessed any cases of admin abuse. There is no doubt in my mind that if certain clan members had admin abilities they would abuse them without hesitation. That's just the type of people in that clan. The server owner knows this too and restricts those abilities to certain members who are trustworthy. Admin abuse is frequently shouted in sidechat when someone dies at the hands of a player with a BH tag, but 99-100% of the time the killer is a clan member without admin abilities. It is easy for new Exile players to get their feet wet on an exile server due to Exile being the only mod on the server. I however wholeheartedly would advise new players to try a different server. There are THOUSANDS of better servers than Blackhearts. And as Theomars already pointed out, the first four five-star reviews are all from BH members. Two of which are admins and the other two being some of the biggest violators of their own codes of ethic. The one person with the shortest review is pretty much the ring leader of the most cancerous clique within the clan and arguably the most prolific sidechat troll on the server.

Can anyone help me figure out why family markers are not working on my server? When we place the marker it shows for literally a split second and instantly vanishes off the map. Something somewhere is preventing the markers from being used. Where would be the first place for me to look?

I don't write scripts, but I'm curious how hard this would be for a scriptor to achieve: Anti-Trade Stealing script The script would cause negative respect (or deduction of tabs or both) to a player who accesses the inventory of a vehicle or gets into a vehicle that he/she doesn't own as long as that vehicle has been in use after server restart. - Script wouldn't apply to vehicles outside of the trader safe zone - Script wouldn't apply to members of the vehicle owner's group - Script wouldn't apply to vehicles left in traders over a restart

Maca134 or anyone here really... I used to use M3Editor long before Eden came out and I would like to tweak a couple of my old custom map editions now. Do I have to literally recreate everything from scratch or is there an easy way to convert my old .sqf files into eden missions? I would just load up the M3Editor and use that like I used to but for some reason as soon as I click Open Project the game crashes. I turned of Battleye and tried again and it still crashes. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I use Vilayer and have to make an @folder for each addon. I do this for @A3xai, @DMS, @VEMF, and more and they work fine.

Nothing is working. When I try to load this script my server remains locked and won't unlock. When I remove @AVS from my parameters, the server works fine. RPT:

A friend of mine was telling me that there is an addon/mod you can boot up with the M3 Editor and it allowed you to copy sections of items you've already placed and duplicate them. He said that he remembers there being a button for this above the repeat object button. Even if you cannot help with the search for this addon/mod, does anyone know of any mods other than m3 editor that can repeat objects (especially piers) in a straight line (not sinking into the ocean or raising above the other pier)?

What is the exact code that I need to put a mil_dot on my map? I know in Arma 2 I would put a line of code in the mission.sqm and up the item number by one. I'm just curious what the exact lines of code are to make this work?

If you're familiar with coding Arma 3 (I know my way around it, but don't claim to know it), then please inbox me. I am looking to have some scripts developed that make use of the tablet, teleport terminals, airdrop crates, and a couple others. -
I added it and it's still not working. I triple check every classname, been through the install instructions four times. Confirmed that I am at a "Land_fs_feed_F" model. The only thing that I did differently from the install instructions was instead of adding: to my description.ext, I added it to my CfgRemoteExec.hpp that Infistar required that we add to our mission folder. The lines of code above in my description.ext are commented out and apparently we use CfgRemoteExec.hpp. Can anyone with Infistar confirm this?
