After using various performance builds, and also trying out Memory Allocation settings, i loads in the server fine, however, instead of Battleye kicking me for not responding, instead, 10-20 seconds into playing, Steam Ticket Kick's become 100% apparent.. In other words, 80/80 times of loading into a server successfully, i will be kicked 100% of the time due to Steam Ticket check. I cannot comprehend what on earth is the reason for this kinda of behavior. I even reached out to Bohemia, with not a single hint of a response.

As title suggests, the new version of loading into the server automatically is horrible. Why? Me and a load of other people have grown sick of being kicked by Battleye for "client Not Responding". That's not that bad part. what's bad is that once that error pops up, it freezes the game forcing you the Alt+F4 and re-launch the game which wastes an extraordinary amount of time. This new method of loading into the server is more of a nuisance than it is a benefit. Please look into this.

Ok, give me the money to buy a top notch PC then, otherwise, you really shouldn't tell people what to do when they're giving feedback on a change made for players loading into servers... But i guess you're entitled to your opinion. The point is, it just needs to be looked as, as it's worse than how it was originally, otherwise i wouldn't have wasted the time to post and check back here about it what so ever.

It's not about start up. It's joining a server that kills. I've been kicked legitimately 60 times today before actually getting in. Also posted on BI forums to get a response to see if it's something on their part, due to Battleye, but it's impossible to get a reply out of them. But it doesn't happen when i'm able to select player slots and join in manually like in Normal Arma. It's just this mod's way of joining servers that i found simply doesn't work for me. Not sure why they changed the loading system anyways, but now it's only made one other thing that's an issue to some people when it worked fine without it.

To be honest, most the static items you mention are already available in game, but to have them added into the building table, would only take scripts. Then most people might not even use them because they're busy out killing things or farming. Though, i think the ability to farm (growing plants and food) would be something more interesting given Tanoa's so green with a massive amount of new plants that are half grown and full grown, maybe plant it, takes a few restarts to grow to full and then get food from it. -
Duda is actually still developing it. That's his latest video, and he said the mod is about reaching that point. So we could probably expect to hear about a release sooner or later.

He also mentioned that, it doesn't have to be specific buildings, it works with any object that's 4-5 meters high, meaning it can be used from bases, buildings with no roof access, and even those high up cliffs on Tanoa.

Same person who made the Advanced Tow mod that's used in pretty much every single Exile server, compatible with rope. So i imagine when it's finished, it can easily be added in with the rest of things and this means that if you have rope in your inventory, it should be fairly easy to get down from difficult area's and save you the time of going all the way around. Particularly by the ancient temples in the Tanoa Jungle. Or if you have a high base on a building, you can repel down.

I actually already posted about this awhile ago, and proved it could actually be done. There were various videos of it, but i don't think that's on the team's priority list ATM. Though it would be cool to have like the Vehicle towing that we can do with the ropes. Would be nice for the ropes to be able to do a little something else.

Ok, I've about had it. My nerves have past the height of the tower in Dubai. I swear to god, if i have to invite someone to a group EVERY TIME THEY DIE. IT's starting to get old, and it's pissing everyone off. The clan feature is seriously long over due for something that is essentially, just that, ESSENTIAL to gameplay. Now i'm not a modder or anything, i have respect for a ton of modders and what not. I've only done re-textures. But is it actually THAT hard? To create a group one time connected to your base and have it never dissipate unless you yourself remove people? This is what we have to go through. -Join Server -Create group -Invite players -Someone dies or gets kicked off for glitchy steam signatures -Re-joins -re-invites -Someone dies and group glitches out -Re-invites -Get's into gunfight -loses some members -Some are ok, some have to be re-invited -re-invites -Group Leader dies... EVERYONE in the group is disband, and group is re named to Alpha 4-3 or some shit -Everyone leaves group, and EVERYONE has to now be re-invited -Invites all re-sent -server restarting -Re-join server -Send all the invites again, where as some group members are too damned annoyed to return to the gameplay because the group menu alone is a pain in the ass. I have two solutions. One of them is to get rid of the current group system, and use the one Bohemia made, which allows players to create a group, add a name, and anyone can see it, and join it, unless of course the leader locks the group. OR ADD THE CLAN FEATURE ALREADY!!! Every other mod already has a permanent group system, to Breaking Point, to th Original Epoch. I like Exile, i really do, but this is the one thing that grinds my gears so much that i think they're rusting away. Thank you for your time! =3

I guess you don't read? I had already added additional information after receiving a post from the admin, you can move on now. In fact, this thread can be closed now. It's not "blame, blame, blame", at what point in my entire script did i directly say, "it's THEIR fault". There was no blaming. Sure i mentioned the Dev's, and did place an opinion, but Vishpala already answered my question, despite my original post being a bit in vein of frustration, and not just mine i might add. I don't mind losing some reputation to express the views of multiple people who play the mod. Sometimes people do get frustrated, feedback is given, sometimes a bit harsher put than could have been, but no big deal. Such is life.- 18 replies

Well, that's reasonable. They do press re-spawn, and as the previous comment mentions, yeah, sometimes it does indeed glitch out, and i guess that's not something you guys can deal with, not sure what causes it, or etc. That's fine, thanks for the response.- 18 replies

Well, dying is apart of the nature of the game. So naturally, going to every mission possible, involves AI, that are sometimes mindless, or sometimes absolute beasts. I understand your position though. No one complain about the group system, until of course, i brought it up. As soon as i mentioned it, there was a steady flow of agreements that the Clan feature should be more in the priority, since people teaming us is pretty much a constant occurrence during gameplay. It's apart of what everyone does when ever they join the server. So yes, not many people mind it, until you really think about it, or bring it up. Then people agree, the Clan system would indeed be better.- 18 replies

I'd love to, i've actually tried starting to learn scripting but on top of the other things i have going on, it wasn't able to fit into my schedule. I just wanted the Dev's to know that perhaps the Clan feature is a bit more important, and should be moved up the priorities a bit. A lot of people are sick of the old group system.- 18 replies

I know, such comments aren't for the light hearted. But hey, i would script a prototype and donate it to the Exile team if i had the time to learn to do it, which i don't. It's a feature that honestly should have been worked on before necessary things like say, Camera's when there's already a function to literally scan for players, and know exactly how many there are? I'm not expert, but the priorities of the development seems to be a bit misplaced. And trust me, i'm not the only one frustrated, i'm just the voice of pretty much every single player on my server, who also agree's. I wouldn't be here otherwise. You can hop on any exile server in existence and ask anyone if they're fed up with the current group menu. No one would say no. But i guess it pisses you off that i'm pissed, it's ok, i get it. I'm patient however, this post is just letting the Dev's know, that people are annoyed with the current system, and that the latter needs to be implemented, soon, and perhaps it's more important than other things (bounty system vs. Clan System, etc.)- 18 replies

There's a camping lantern in Arma 3 by default so no model making s required. Simply make it to where you can craft the camping lantern using batteries and a light bulb, and you can either carry around the lantern with you, or place it somewhere.
