Would be kinda irritating to have to wait to lock up while towing vehicles to sell at the traders though. I like to lock my vehicles, especially choppers, while at the trader so that no one jumps in and steals them.

I think giving the last 3 digits in order may be too easy. The original idea was to give all 4 digits in random order, not sure why the devs decided to change it up a bit. Didn't plan on a lock out timer for failed attempts either but that may be necessary to make it a bit tougher. I need to mess with it some in game to form a better opinion of its implementation though.

I like it, great idea! My question is, what mechanism will there be for tracking/finding a bounty? As it stands now you don't know who you're tracking/killing until they are dead. Could be as simple as a map indication once the bounty is placed, but that seems too simple. Maybe some type of "bounty tracking tool" that points out the direction to a bounty, similar to a compass, and maybe gives a distance to bounty also.

I don't think that little gas jug holds enough fuel to refuel a strider. Check to see if the fuel gauge is going up at all after you put fuel in. I can't remember how much the can holds but it probably requires several to refuel the strider.

That's a pretty good idea, I like it.

Or you could sell your own designs to other players!

I agree that whatever is implemented should only allow raiding while the base owner is online. It would also be great if the owner was notified via xm8 or some type of alert that the base was being raided. Logging off and coming back to an empty base wouldn't be fun.

So in real life, hackers use infrared cameras to identify which buttons were last pushed on locks such as these. Residual heat from the finger remains on the buttons that were pressed. I think this could be an interesting possibility in exile. Make a camera type device that will show the 4 digits used in the pin code for X amount of time after the lock was used, maybe like 5-10 minutes. I know that is a long time vs. reality but needs to be fairly long for gameplay. After the 4 digits are retrieved it is then up to the player to determine what the correct number sequence is to figure out the actual pin number, as the infrared camera won't tell you the pin sequence, just the 4 digits. I think implementation may be easy. Just have the "camera device" in inventory then walk up to a lock, if it is within 5-10 minutes of use there can be a scroll wheel option to read the pin digits. I could see players staking out bases and waiting for the owner to leave or return to lock up, then attempting to sneak to the door to try to get the pin code numbers. Once you are inside the base you may or may not be able to loot vehicles and other locked items depending upon which locks were used recently. I think this could work for 4 digit pins, seems like it'd be very tough for longer pins though.
