if I don't have any weapons and I hit the auto run key I end up stuttering every now and then on the way to my destination. Anyone else have this problem?

Just curious; when you enter a rad zone, your screen is hit with a filter that can practically blind you. Is there a way to lower the intensity of that filter, or disable it altogether? I want to use the radiation zones/gas masks for something, but nobody would want to play if they can't really see.

What. Lol In all honesty, I don't think that is anywhere near true. The dev team does this on their freetime; they're not expecting compensation for this, and thus they aren't completely dependent on it. Sure, the fund goal not being met can have an impact on the "when"'s of update releases, but seeing as they're still actively working on making the next update... well, you may want to consult the source for your 'rumors.'

What the issue is, is that any form of direct server advertising in the General Discussion (links, addresses, etc), regardless of server ownership, is seen as a plug. I'm not trying to make this into any means of trouble or dispute, @Lunchbox , because you seem to be a cool guy.

Is there a friendly marker plug in that only shows party member indicators at a certain distance? (i.e. 100m)

On BIS site, it says that this is in data_f.pbo: //Parameters that affect the Limited distance choice for Group Indicators, Friendly Name Tags, Enemy Name Tags and Detected Mines. //They determine on which distance the indicators are fully visible and how many more meters it takes until the indicator fades-out completely. fadeDistanceStart = 40.0; fadeDistanceSpan = 10.0;

It's just that last night I had to put this up for a few of my friends to download, since they couldn't find the old versions anywhere on here. -
So I just recently started up an exile tavi map and everything was working fine, but after the server restart I could not load in properly. After connecting and receiving the mission file, I loaded into a black screen. The values for health, hunger and thirst were all reset, but I could not move, esc, bring up my infistar menu -- anything -- until it kicked me out to the lobby about 30 seconds after loading finished. When I deleted my profile from the database, I could fresh spawn in and play normally. But on any restart, I would end up in this 30 second limbo. Does anyone have a fix for this? I have a feeling it's a database error.

Hey everyone. I was playing on my own server today (making sure everything was working), and I went to do a VEMF mission. I started engaging them, and they started firing back, but after less than a minute, they gave up fighting, and assumed some form of nonviolent protest (in other words, they stopped firing, and did nothing when I shot their comrades in the head). It didn't matter what gear I had, the vehicle I approached in, how close/far I was (from scratching their nose with the barrel of my gun to 800m+) or the difficulty/location of the mission. I did install SargeAI right before this started to happen, so the problem is likely to reside there. Does anyone have any workarounds to turn them back into the killing machines they're supposed to be?

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but has anyone had issues with using VEMF with SargeAI? It seems the VEMF AI become docile and don't fire after only 30 seconds of engagement, regardless of the situation.

@Flosstradamus : So, this post is okay then? Just checking with you, I'd hate to get my wrists slapped for something like this. I simply want to provide a means for retrieving older exile versions for people intending to play on servers not up to date yet. Also, if anyone has any versions that they would like me to post up (with the devs' blessings of course), I'll put links up here to downloads. -

Alright, hear me out on this. After exiting a vehicle, don't let the option to lock it to appear immediately. Instead, have a timer to lock the vehicle (i.e. 10 seconds, more or less). This adds the risk of getting attacked by others while waiting to secure your vehicle. It also makes car jacking possible, and also gives loot a chance to spawn while waiting. The timer does not need to be long, and perhaps it could be adjustable by server owners. Even better, the timer could be canceled if the vehicle owner undergoes combat. While I don't really like the idea of not being able to lock your vehicle if it's damaged, though I feel that the current system needs change. My suggestion has its own flaws, but I feel the other mentioned system is a little harsh. It imposes that if my car bumps a bush and I lose my tires, that everything is open for window shoppers while I try to fetch duct tape. Any ideas/suggestions to work off of this?
