Many Map Files To Come! Slowly Rolling out updates. ^^' Custom Traders, Loot Tables/Spawns! So around the Exile forums I have seen threads that have been removed due to people either stealing something from someone else or some other reason, but I know there's a bunch of people looking for map files along with Traders and maybe loot tables. And I've always wanted to make a bunch of mission files for Exile and just give them to the community because why not? I enjoy helping and it's good for me to keep this stuff in my head so I never forget. People might find this tedious or boring or just don't want to do it and I can understand that but well, basically hopefully I can keep everything updated and running so there can be more options to people! Enjoy the mission files along with traders and loot tables. How Do I Create These? So I never used to be able to understand how to do all of this like many. I just learned and gave up so on so forth, but the tools you need are provided via the Exile Team themselves. If it wasn't for the mpmissions folder within their ExileServer download then no custom map would have been able to have been made into a mission.pbo but they gave everyone the base for what needed to be done. I've just looked into their work via the mission files and altered them to work for any other map. The only files I edit are the mission.sqm, initServer.sqf and initPlayerLocal.sqf. For the loot tables I will explain that when I get to that point. Map Files: Info! All of these mission files have 100 player slots (I think? ) so all you have to do is change them yourself. And if you want more, for whatever reason then you can add more. If you're wanting some custom traders or different map markers etc. Message me and I see what I can do for you. Also if you have any suggestions for map missions I should create then list them down below. I've had a short break from ArmA as the map things were getting a little too much along with not being able to figure something out via server side so I kind of gave up but I'm back and hopefully will get some of these done soon. ~Bloodshot_pico Licensing: This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License. Update: Finally fixed up a really stupid mistake I made early on with the maps, but they should all be fixed now. Meaning all the maps currently on my github should have 100 players to select from rather than the 1. Sorry for the slow updates and taking forever to finally push this thing out. More updates to follow but at the slow pace with other projects in the way. ^^' ~Blood

Hello, so I've been trying to get X-Cam Taunus to work on my PC's server for testing and I seem to be having problems with the map loading etc. The mission.pbo is read fine but for some reason the server keeps spitting this out in the console and RPT. Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWorlds.XCamTaunus'. Warning Message: No entry '.gridNumbersOverLines'. Warning Message: '/' is not a value Warning Message: No entry '.centerPosition'. Warning Message: []: '/' not an array Cannot evaluate '' - no file Warning Message: []: '/' not an array Cannot evaluate '' - no file Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWorlds.XCamTaunus'. Warning Message: []: '/' not an array Cannot evaluate '' - no file Warning Message: []: '/' not an array Cannot evaluate '' - no file I have read a few threads on this matter and the only thing I could really recall from them being helpful was to make sure my mods were being read in a certain order, so I switched it up to make sure it was reading them correcting. And well this didn't have any effect. I've tested various versions of the mod along with mission.pbos to make sure that wasn't the case of the map not loading. I used the Steam and ArmAholic mod to try and see if one of them worked and it did nothing. I also tested someone else's mission.pbo to make sure I wasn't being silly in making my mission.sqm and this had the same result. As for the other Taunus mission file I used this one: If anyone could help with this problem, then tip of my hat off to you. I'm going to keep testing and will post my fix here when I find one. ~Blood

That's interesting I'll have to look at it soon but hopefully the winter says it has 100 slots. .-.

Yeah I'm not sure when it's back up as well, I'm sure it's been down for a few days now. So don't worry about it. But would you be able to check the Chernarus one out for me or would you need Armaholic still?

I have added a Chernarus Winter version to the downloads, although I cannot test it out myself so hopefully someone can do that for me as I work on other maps and other versions of these? That would be a huge help. Tell me if anything is wrong with the other versions as well when I post them I will try my best to fix as many problems as I can. If anyone needs a custom one of these making then by all means ask away and tell me what you're after. Another thing is that I'm probably just going to be putting out base files for now or try my best to push a few of these out as I can considering I'm basically avoiding the traders and other place-ables right now since they're a pain but I'll get around to them, but if anyone else can help then by all means message me. ~Bloodshot_pico

You just place the mission.pbo into your MPmissions folder on the server yes. -
You can make them yourself.

I don't think it would hit performance honestly unless you have the builings spawning 100% of their spawn points with 5 items over in one spot, then maybe that might be a little too much.

Just added Chernarus map files, although the only things that are added are the map markers with safezones etc I still have to test them on a server and make sure that they work as intended. The spawns do not have the proper names they should but they should be fixed maybe in the next few days. Next Friday there will be another map mission.sqm released as soon as I get it finished, but for now these are going to be basically the base files for helping me setup what I want to do with them later.
