Had several people messaging me about the loot positions for Lingor. Going to put them here for whoever wants them. (Sorry mods if this is the wrong section)

Ugh, thinking about skipping lime all together and waiting for 1.0. Getting everything working on lingor was a pain and admittedly I stopped working on server tings because school and now I am DREADING going back in and updating everything for lime. Guess I could use beyond compare or something and update what is needed, assuming things have not DRASTICALLY changed. How fairs everyone else and their updates?

Honestly, the server mods should be the ones dealing with those sorts of issues to begin with, any good owner can find out relatively easy if their mods have been abusing their powers, just look in the logs. Any mods on my server have to enter !admin in the chat to have their powers turned on when they need to help someone out. This kicks them to the lobby and when they rejoin the menu is available to them. Sort of like what Floss mentioned above. You can tell really easily who is flipping the admin switch on and off and if they can't validate their reasoning for you, demote them from a mod or better yet make an example of them in front of the server.

if players want to cry let them be babies, shouldn't be playing arma imo if that is the case, they'll learn the hard way though. Honestly no the alt tp thing is useless after a player has changed pos from the location a bug or problem occurs. I have used map icons and esp far too often in assisting players, to remove them would be asinine and I would be sure to add them right back if infi did ever do that (which he wouldn't) i'm sure he understand the EXTREME usefulness in being able to see your players locations/deadbodies/basses/vehicles/etc

Wow...people crying about admins using tools.No one thinks they deserve to use the tools? Spending all that time setting up the server, buying the AH or writing their own? Kinda makes me shake my head when I see " kinda wish the infistar AH didn't have player esp and map icons, this would prevent such abuse." Riiiiiiiiight because now finding a player on the map with an issue is that much harder, or finding someones dead body because they bugged out and died. It's not like that happens in Arma right? Custom action shows on player respawn, after use it kills itself...Not sure why it won't run on MP I do have this working in the editor. I however can not seem to get it running server side, I am not sure if this is because I have my event handler set up wrong, any help/information would be appreciated . Sounds like he took what some people were saying waaay too seriously. The day working on a computer becomes a job instead of a career for me is the day I too would become fed up, but to say " you do not have any right to demand my time when I have none to give." seems a bit silly. I think it should be very clear to an individual that no one can demand your time. Not de facto at least.. I mean that's how life works right, our economic worth is based on our skills and those skills are paid for accordingly based on time spent. (at least where I live, unfortunately this is not how it works everywhere) It seems like the lines were blurring at some point for him between home,work,school and hobbies. Never a good thing, priorities are key. Sad to think someone can get so bogged down and self conscious over simple rhetoric. If that was even the case, not like I can call a three word vulgar post rhetoric but I would like to assume Face had a thicker skin when it came to something as childish as "fuck you Face", let the haters hate and be happy for the good that comes from your work, no?

Hope he returns, shame on whoever caused the all the fuss. Even if I didn't give two hoots about A3XAI it is disappointing to see this kind of thing. Again I wonder why @Face let alone anyone would put so much effort and care into helping or assisting some shithead acting like a fewl. Makes little sense but I think I have a better idea from what @Flosstradamus had mentioned, seems like it was a domino effect in a manner of speaking.

That his his choice yes, but there is a big leap between asking a question (stupid or not) and out right entitlement. I mean were people DEMANDING features, were they berating his hard work? I don't know I have been absent and it sucks to hear, not just because I enjoyed using his work but because that kind of behavior from the community is really shitty. This brings to question why is anyone especially @Face (the author) wasting time dealing with idiots to begin with? I mean the system was extremely easy to implement and config, you can easily assume someone unable to implement the addon shouldn't be running a server to begin with and or should begin working on their reading skills before deciding running an arma 3 server is the thing for them. No offense intended to anyone of course but it's a pretty simple concept. Priorities. @Torchgodz - I do understand this, I have spent countless hours just helping people learn how to join a server in arma, I could not imagine trying to help those same people install something to a server *shudders* (albeit I have helped people implement scripts and things I have used, never authored though). Yes people will be idiots, yes this literally does "sucks the life out of you" does it seem right? Did that stop anyone from releasing or typing ass loads of stupid help replies on the epoch threads back in the DayZ of a2? (I'm pretty sure you were there, trap) I'm sorry but that is an answer I really don't understand. It's like saying "I don't share my works because people are dumb" Well by that thinking nothing would ever get done my friend, how would people learn anything or come to grow with new ideas built on old ones shared among each other.
