Is there anyone familiar with how the AI spotting mechanics work or can link me to a page that explains it? Got curious yesterday when I was sniping a group of about 8 AI random spawns and was joined by a guy in a ghillie suit. He was ten feet from me and a bit behind and of all strange things the AI seemed to focus more on him than me even though I was A) wearing urban camo in the middle of a field vs his ghillie suit and B) I was firing a Lynx as opposed to the DMR he was using. Edit: Not entirely sure how far we were from the AI but if I had to guess I'd say roundabout 100 meters.

What ka0s here said, exile has a great deal of settings which are able to be modified by a server administrator, the location and loot deadzone of traders being two of them.

Well that bites. Glad they don't understand military towers then at least. (Been running into Pyrgos to loot then running to the high military tower to hide from the 15+ zombies I aggro for the past couple days)

Just wondering, do silencers work to prevent zombie sound agro in Exile? Haven't been able to stay alive long enough to test myself lol

This sounds like an issue with the way the server you are on is set up not with bambi state. Even picking up an axe on the servers I've been on drops the state, plus what Evilhomer said. Haven't tested the getting in a vehicle thing but I'll check on it when I'm able to.

It seems a little wrong to me that you get the same amount of respect for killing someone who is just out of bambi mode and may have no gear other than their orange jumpsuit because they got unlucky and found nothing as you do for killing someone that is in full combat kit carrying an LMG. I see gear has an item level, how about setting the respect earned for killing someone to the level of the items they have equipped? Not saying a 1/1 but like Item level 1 = 50 respect or something.
